This clay based product is used extensively in Japan as the main growing medium. Many Bonsai enthusiasts in Europe mix it with other ingredients to produce their own unique Bonsai soils. Neutral in PH with virtually no inherent nutrients. Smaller granule size than standard Akadama at around 1mm to 2mm.
